The People's Coalition has been around since the late 90's. We have organized and been involved in actions for social justice and peace, including the Rolling Thunder Democracy Tour in 2003, the People's March for Social Justice, and numerous anti-war rallies, workshops and events.. We work with other groups to create events, marches, forums, to bring the community together.     March 4. March Forth on March Fourth brought hundreds of students out on the UCSB campus to rally for education funding. Hundreds more from City College and from area high schools joined them downtown later for a march and rally. Pictures by Robert Bernstein Here

    Feb. 25. Hundreds protest Rove's visit at UCSB. About three dozen students and community members managed to get inside as legal attendees. As soon as Rove began speaking they briefly shouted words of protest and walked out en masse. Rove refused to allow questions to be asked.
